TECHNICAL THEATRE
The Technical Theatre program at Santa Susana High School is a Career Technical Education (CTE) course that integrates academic knowledge with technical and occupational knowledge to provide students with a pathway to postsecondary education and careers. Students are responsible for designing, building, and operating all live productions on campus while working under the supervision and guidance of industry professionals. Students will gain hands-on experience in stage management, technical direction, costume construction, lighting design, sound design, and rigging. Students will work across our various performance venues on campus using current industry-standard equipment.
Santa Susana High School is an Arts, Media, and Entertainment (AME) Demonstration site.
"Arts, media, and entertainment (AME) career technical education (CTE) programs prepare high school students to enter California’s thriving creative economy.
